The cable did not matter, the old one worked.īefore this happened, I could get it to work sometimes by switching resolutions back and forth from 4k to 1080 in the nvidia settings.Īlso look at the refresh rate. Then about a month later, (I assume after some windows updates) mine magically started working. I also ordered new Amazon HDMI cables (I didnt realize I got the one with ethernet until it was too late. Had the same problem you are having now and mine has a GTX 1070.
